Heading to HCMC for the first time soon. Usually wil go to BKK to chiong. Can bros here offer some advise for comparison? Im getting the sense that it’s a bit more chaotic and messy in HCMC, and potential to be scammed is a bit higher. Is that true?

Any advice on where to chiong, and any KTV contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Hi Bro, just 1 advise or rather managing your expectation when it comes to KTV in VN. It would be very different from the Viet KTV we have in Singapore where you can Humsap in the room. KTV in HCMC is alot watered down and the girls will only chat or play drinking games with you. The end goal is for them is for you to bring her back to your place. Rates are usually 4M (ST) and 8M (Overnight).

You will also need to research which hotels allow girls to brought back after 10pm. Alternative is Airbnb but I heard that in the recent days, the security in Airbnb also became strict and you may have to tip 50K -100K for them to allow you to bring the girl back.

So the alternative is to go KTV early at 5pm and leave by 9pm if you plan to tabao.

Solo-ing in HCM and just went Vien Dong. Spa at 2nd floor of hotel. Went since I just needed a massage and release at 1am near my hotel after I landed. Girl assigned but I heard can reject. Didn't need to reject the girl I got as she was already my type (slight bah bah and CFM face with a nice tattoo).

Girl: 7/10 definitely above average as were most others I saw
Massage: 5/10 mostly pian. Was quite disappointed here tbh I tot this place had decent massage
Service: 7/10 SOP but she had great tongue action. Could speak basic English but at 1am I was too tired to chit chat

Facilities are okay with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Beginner friendly place with helpful attendants. I feel BLC better but obviously cost more.

Short trip to hcm, visited on 20/Apr.

Arrived hcm early in the morning. Tips, buy fast track ticket on klook to cut down waiting time at immigration. An airport staff will bring you to vip lane for quick clearance.

Minh Tam - dmg vnd1.4mil (for room) + vnd1.4mil (tips)= approx $2.8mil.
Since it was too early to check in, I took grab & headed straight from airport to Minh Tam which was 20mins away. Place opens at 10am but ladies only starts coming from 10:30 onwards. Was told after 12pm, much more selection. Here, they will select a lady each time for you. You're allowed 2 times rejection. There's 3 room type, and I took super vip which gives you a better chance of getting a pretty one. To make sure that I got the prettiest at that time, I also paid the guy vnd100,000 tips and told him to bring me the best. There were 3 guys waiting & only 5 ladies just arrived in the early morning at that time. I got to the room and it was very clean, came with jacuzzi, sauna, free drinks & food. waited few minutes & heard gentle knock on the door. In came a very cute looking lady no.12 with glasses wearing their spa uniform which didn't do justice to her beautiful looks. She quickly changed into a sexy night robe which elegantly displayed her stunning figure. Soft natural C bobs. You get your sauna & jacuzzi indulgence time. She then gave me a very good relaxing massage which is much better than most ladies at this non-massage focus place. Ended with a good HJ. Tip the guy that brought me the lady again at the end & then gave me his WeChat for next visit arrangement.

After lunch, tried King VIP barbershop with a friend. Had 4 hands service but was pretty disappointed that the whole experience for both of us felt only 2 hands were at work. The other 2 hands were most of the time almost non-existent.

At night we ended at a local ktv. Story to be continued...

Anyone traveling to hcm during 28 Apr to 2 May, please avoid D1 or totally avoid flying to hcm...

This year's 50th reunification celebrations will be in hcm and the hotels were fully booked and most high end restaurants also fully booked...

From the news the traffic is madness and jammed all over...

Also many hawkers will be closed and many will travel out of hcm...

Please stay safe...

a lot of roads in D1 and nearer to D1 will be closed all the way till celebrations are over. Mrt is also super packed till its probably dangerous to take it as there is high risk of stampede (the low train frequency made it worse too).
For this year, there will be a lot more people in hcm as the rural viets will be in hcm to join in the celebrations, instead of the usual year where hcm population return to their hometowns or go travelling.
if u are in the celebrations, please look out for signs of stampede. Viet police are always understaffed, i dont think they can do much control should the crowd run havoc.
