There's usually not much to say la. Any basic topic of conversation would have been exhausted in that one hour of service.

The ML and you are usually in different fields and likely have different interests. Furthermore you have to be discreet about yourself.

So I'd prefer to spend time with a female friend whom I can talk to, who has common interests, and most importantly, is interested in me (as a person).

before Covid topics were weather, China, Singapore or basics like where she comes from and age (don't expect truths anyway)

After Covid it's Covid hahaha... i think most MLs knows enough to not probe anything about your work.

Going there, whether for work or play, can open up many avenues for conversation.

When I first started I like to play this little " So when is your birthday?" game w MLs I RTM. Usually 2 outcomes:

1. The birthday she reply tends to be very near the day I asked
