For me i am the other way round, i would like to tinker with the settings of any vr headset so for me i would always like to have more options for myself when it comes to my usage for a vr headset but that being said i also do notice that when we talk about vr headsets with physical lever settings it does also seem that you can also shift the vr lenses sideways if you need to which can give you a much wider view of your vr experience as you watch it
