Watched the game. Pity that the Lions drew the game. Liked their tactics of long throws in the opposition box where Bai was always posing danger.

If I'm right, Izwan Mahbud is only 20 whereas Hyrulnizam is 25. Given how well we had done this season, the Malaysians may lower the number of players aged above 23 we may have for next season. Perhaps Izwan Mahbud was played to let him gain more experience, with an eye for next season.

I see.....but Hyrulnizam had done exceptionally well to get us to the top.....

I was watching the replay on news....we got quite a healthy crowd at Jln Besar.
Good signs n in addition with EPL drawing a close...we might have more ppl coming in.

Agreed that Hyrulnizam is an unconventional but effective goalkeeper. He has great reflexes but he likes to punch and push the ball away when he could have caught it.

Actually, the Jalan Besar crowd probably don't care about the BPL as much. Some of the Sat night matches do clash with BPL matches but still, people turn up. You should attend a few matches if you can. The atmosphere is electric. People of different races cheering and chatting together. Now quite rare for such occurences. I was chatting with a Malay uncle and an Indian teenager. Cursing and swearing together, hi-fives and all. When the match ended, we wished each other well and carried on with our lives. I didn't even know their names and there isn't a need to.

Both goals are true poacher's goals. Twist and turn to create space to shoot. 2nd goal is a nutmeg through the goalkeeper's feet some more. I think a lot of the older guys know that they will not be playing for Singapore next season due to the age requirement. I suppose these guys are putting up solid performances so that the Malaysian states can sign them next season. I see so many potential deals coming up. Sharill, Isa Halim, Shaiful Esah, Agu, our goalie Hyrulnizam and even Jumaat Jantan. Isa Halim is a really good defensive midfielder.

This league is seriously flawed. How can one team play 6 games more than the rest? It makes just no sense at all.

Max is 2 or even 3 game difference due to commitments like cup and postponements due to unforeseen circumstances.

But SIX? Seriously?
