As I won't be frequenting this forum anymore, below is my experience and advice for bro who has plan to visit Yoshiwara or other soapland. My experience mainly on soapland and not other establishment like health service (massage etc).

Things to do/not/aware of (not in order except no.1):
1. Behave - Not to mention what is backing these businesses, unless you speak the languages and understand the local culture, try not to create too much scene in these places. Mainlanders were once banned (not sure now) in these establishments due to the tendency to create a lot problems and scenes for them, and these establishments decided to not do business with Mainlanders entirely. The opposite hold truth as well, if SG bros behave well and make them feel SG bros tend to be reasonable customer, they will be more likely to accept any in future etc.

2. Do your research - There will always be fake pictures, fake girls anywhere. The information on girls and establishments are rather easily available on the net, some punters even have dedicated blog on reviews on girls etc. If you are unlucky and got bad/wrong/different girls, try your luck another day and not create scene. While the you-pay-what-you-get might hold some truth, you can never dismiss the thought that even at high end places there might be dongbei girls etc.

3. Pay a visit to Yoshiwara yourself, after doing research, chances are there will be someone at entrance to tout you, which is to your advantage if you have done research and the establishment you want touts you. When they ask/tout you, you can ask them "Nihonjin dewa arimasenyouni, daijyoubudesuka?" , or just ask Not Japanese ok? or "Singaporu jin desu, daijyoubu?" etc , basically inform them that you are not local and if that is ok? This is mainly for courtesy and making sure you don't get ejected out of establishment when they found out you are not Japanese, you won't be able to hide it anyway might as well be frank with them at the entrance.

4. In reference to 3, make sure you dress well and dress smart. Basically, make sure you are presentable enough for touters to approach you. While most establishments might say they decline foreigners, the final decisions mainly goes to the establishment's owner/keeper. If you dress like hobo, the chances of someone approaching you will be less than being more presentable.

5. The establishments usually requires to pay up-front, so just do it... see no.2

6. While not knowing Japanese might still be accepted by establishments, the chemistry of you and the girls are totally up to you, do not expect them to be able to speak English with you, if they do, be scared, be really scared, probably fake Japanese. While Japanese might have learnt English during their school years, the ability to speak and willingness to speak is another issue.

7. There are establishments with AV stars, places which allow you to raw, places which allow you to cum inside etc, do your research ahead of time and try your luck following no1-4.

8. Do not give up if rejected, there are like 100 establishment in Yoshiwara itself, not to mention nearby Kawasaki and other soaplands establishments around the country. Just move on to next establishments. That said, try not to go in groups, maybe a friend is good but not in groups. Most the time establishments will not accept or unwilling to accept groups, for fear of trouble and other stuffs.

Different establishments might post different type payment on their site, be sure to check and confirms what type is it in case you are in a rude shock where you have to pay 54k Yen while you thought it was 20K yen. If you dont speak Japanese, my advice is dont try.
