The PAP announced today the members of their Central Executive Committee, the highest, decision-making body within their party.
As PAP is in power and has been for over five decades, their CEC is also the highest decision making body in all of Singapore.
Other countries where a single party has been in power for so long with no strong opposition include the Communist Party in China and the Government of North Korea.
With such long, uninterrupted power, do you think the party is still effective and alert to the needs of all Singaporeans?
In a facebook post, PAP explained that they had just had their 33rd Party Conference at the Singapore Expo and had decided on the members of their CEC.
The members are:
Lee Hsien Loong
Khaw Boon Wan
Yaacob Ibrahim
Teo Chee Hean
Tharman Shanmugaratnam
Lim Swee Say






K Shanmugam Sc
Chan Chun Sing
Gan Kim Yong
Grace Fu

The co-opted members are:
Halimah Yacob
Ng Eng Hen
These people are officially the most powerful people in Singapore who will be making most of the decisions about policies that affect Singaporeans.
PAP said that the CEC will lead the party forward for a brighter tomorrow.
