Coron is the Island North of Palawan near El Nido - There is an airport Busuanga but with the air fares sky high, it is a big turn off - and am not a fan of the cheap option - 2 day ferry - with the safety record, flying a 15 year old Plane seem safer ..

El Nido is damn nice, provided there was a cheaper way to get there, or the alternate of 8 to 9 hours from PP is a killer ... Maybe I need to save money and head there next year ...
