or you could also try Flipper House Hotel at Soi 7...walk-in rate 1080 baht...decent looking chic rooms & lobby, have quite a good buffet breakfast of american breakfast & thai food and they have a nice pool with a bar counter inside the pool where you can sit on the stool & drink & eat INSIDE in the swimming pool.

If you feeling adventurous I would advise best is that you book a hotel thru internet for first day and then recce around other hotels, ask the recep you wanna have a look inside their rooms and then book for the rest of your other days once you like it...or simply just go straight there, recce around and then book your hotel there...provided if its not peak season like Songkran
