Lian Hua Lu is actually walking distance form the border. After crossing walk straight until the first major intersection. Turn right and it is about 100m away

Yes at Shekou the subway is about 50m from the ferry terminal. Near enough. It will bring to to WOW interchange to connect to the other line.
