Never say never because there are certain aspects of geylang that still appeal. Safety for one. Profit margin might be lower but it guarantees them safety in many aspects e.g. healthcare and law-enforcement.
Speak to the FLs on the other portals they'll tell you what they are afraid of and the stress of housing rent, getting caught, the exorbitant levies they pay.
If geylang had no appeal you wont find some of the gems that still exist today albeit i still find a little lower level than the hotties of yesteryear.
im not saying that selina and baobao are no good, in terms of the service they are faultless but in the looks department just not great

there are still many gems in GL, and each of us have our own favourite. And this place is very safe to do the fuck job. I was at one building doing a FJ in one of the beauty parlours, in Selegie area, KNS so stressed that my kuku bird refuse to cooperate, even though it was at night on weekend and presumably safe.
