just sharing my thoughts here, about the OKTs, WLs. There is no perfect OKT, no perfect WL. It is about management of expectation.

some OKTs own the unit, most OKTs pay rental for the unit, so this also affects the profit margin.

some OKTs are very demanding with their WLs, some even told the WLs that their house must provide those services or else go back, some OKTs are very relaxed with their WLs and let them do what they are OK with. So this also affects the business and also the turnover of the WLs.

Some OKTs rent premises for the WLs to stay and charge them $10 per day. Sometimes if the WLs are many, the OKTs got profit from the $10 per day which I feel the OKT should give the WLs a treat every month. Some OKT let the WLs stay in their rooms and do not charge rental even though some do. Let the OKTs manage their own cashflow.

I feel that the OKTs should treat the WLs well but of course, with some limits. If the OKTs treat the WLs too well, the house will havoc when the WLs climb over the OKTs head and some may choose whether want to work or not. So each OKT may have his/her own house rules. We all know some houses the OKTs have very strict house rules until the WLs cannot tahan.

for the WLs, they know this is their job. Even if they go to Dubai, go to Florence, go to Sydney, they also do the same job. They may earn less here, but definitely safer than in China where there are too many raids until they work only a few days a month.

If the WL knows how to manage her finances, most of her income can be put to good use. If the WL spends most of what she earns, then no one can save her. I sometimes see the wechat gallery of some of the WLs, they really go out with their sisters and wefie their makan at MBS or some posh restaurants. Some frequently go for late night supper and merrying.

Overall it is not an easy business with too many constraints. Not as easy as what we think it to be, putting aside those karma thingy. Talk to the OKTs more often and you will know their joy and sorrows.
