There's many other nice places beside HK. But HK is like all in one place. If lazy to travel then HK is the ideal place.

Thumbs up. Khao niao mah muang is my weakness (of many) :o

Once, my Sathorn office after hearing of my soft spot arranged a working lunch with mangos from a famous and popular shop there. Khao niao was freshly done at home. Stuffed, and only sweet nothings from meeting. :p

Best if with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, as I had indulged in some restaurant.

Anyone tried khao niao durian?

Have anyone try Orchard Chicken Rice at basement of Espanade Mall, Ratchada. Another bigger branch at Paradise Mall, Srinakarin.

Yes..I have been there 2 times. Its a restaurant with singapore murals on its walls. Chicken rice is decent. Tried some other food from its menu but nothing really reminding you of singapore.:)

By the way when I go Chatujak I always whack the coconut ice cream 3-4x ....... Best to savour under the hot weather.........sibei shiok :D

Ratchada/Huai Khwang is like Changping Town.
Everything can be found within close distances. :p

If you ask me to stay in Bangkok long term again I'll still choose to stay in Ratchada or Lat Phrao. :D
