Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
FT : Man U 3 - 2 Newcastle
Hojlund bench. Bruno returns and played upfront with McTom behind him. Garnacho n Amad as wings. Core is Amrabat and Mainoo. Some early pressure from the Magpies, then Devils took over. Amad assist for Mainoo and later score a cracker himself. Hojlund came in 82nd and score 2 mins later. Some panic moments with Lewis Hall long range strike in stoppage time but the Devils hang on for all 3 pts. But Chelsea also won at BHA. So, Man U still anchor at 8th. All down to last game to see who secure at least 7th position. Very nice exciting match! |

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Which Man Utd will turn up vs Brighton ? ( home win )
Actually don't care, I more interested in if Antony, Martial, McGuire are going to leave at end of season. Along with ETH. As I look at Fernandez, the most 'impactful' player for Man Utd this season, he can at most get a subs place in the past, and now he thinks hes too good for Man Utd. Not his fault tho, MU just totally lost its way this season. |

He was seen waving to the OT crowds after the Newcastle match....together w Varane. Antony -- if can find buyer for him. At the moment, looks like none. Maguire -- he is like a Moai statue on Easter Islands. he wants to stay to fight for his place. with the mass injury of defenders, he likely will be kept. As for Bruno, he creates an impact especially in the last match. he was deployed upfront like a free player and that seemed to make things work. Currently the best Man U can have. I also feel he is not that good, seriously. This Sunday, all the EPL matches will be starting the same time. 11 PM Man City, Arsenal -- who will win the title? Will Man U sneak in playing UECL? They need to win though. Away to BHA. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
The Bundesliga season draws to a close this season with the last match being played today.
Although Bayer Leverkusen had already won the title, they will create history for being the first side to go unbeaten in an entire Bundesliga season, if they don't lose to mid table Augsburg at BayArena tonight. With a voracious home fans supporting and all their first team players, fit and ready, really hard to see them lose this one. Match at 9.30pm. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
Looks like it's going to happen as Leverkusen are already 2 nil up bro.
But if Leverkusen then go on to beat Atalanta in the Europa League · Final on Wednesday, followed by beating FCK in the DFB-Pokal · Final next Saturday, then it shall truly be Invincible All season. Quote:

I was looking at the first goal. Amine Adli took advantage of slip up by Koubek to get the ball...but he unselfishly lay on to the on rushing Boniface as he was totally in the clear. And Boniface make no mistake. If it was Man U, Trashford and Garnacho would have tried their luck and blasted the shot, even though there could be other players (Hojlund/McTom) in a better position. Really, there were so many times such selfish acts didn't convert into goals. By scoring a goal, the outcome of the match could be very different. Anyway, I rest my case and tonight's match against BHA will be critical on whether they can play European football. |
Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours
FT : BHA 0 - 2 Man U.
Nice away win to mark an end to the season. Dalot shows striker instinct with that goal. Hojlund notched another coming on as a sub. Probably he played better as a sub. Lol! But with Newcastle winning, Red Devils remained anchor at 8th in the table. Even though level on points with Newcastle, the Magpies have a far superior goal difference. Final hope rests on the FA Cup final with newly crowned Champions, Man City. |
