If you ask me, now i prefer half half.
Paid for almost everything, nkw she run road with our child. Then now i no money, but she got all the savings. Really arse hole.

Mostly half half too but I do more of the heavy lifting covering household expenses. Communication is key.

Joint account, deposit same amount of cash in monthly.

Practically use it to pay for everything house, family, kid-related.

Even car installment- send wife to work daily, end work she take bus. Season parking, Cashcard top-up also 50-50. Only petrol i pay la as car i using on weekdays.

I believe in equality. But occasionally buy her gifts to pamper her lo.

it's different for every couple and family, bro. If you're wealthy and financially super secured, then you can pay for everything. Or else, with the economy hitting us hard nowadays, it is safer for both partners to work and agree on mutual expenditure.
